In preparation for our CCW Day of Reflection, join us for a  5-week book study of the autobiography of our guest speaker, Immaculee Ilibagiza, led by Jen Ricard. Wednesdays starting September 2nd at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Cuyahoga Falls. Morning session: 9:30-11:00am $35/ticket includes a copy of the book and light refreshments  

Starting September 22nd, an 8-week series based on Fr. Timothy Gallagher's Ignatian Guide to Everyday Living, led by Fr. Ryan Mann, Jen Ricard, and Tommy Dome. 4-week series on The Dignity of Dependence by Leah Libresco Sargeant. Starting the week of October 4th at multiple locations.  The Dignity of Dependence aims to liberate women and men from the corrosive and false ideal that the human person is strongest alone. Leah Libresco Sargeant argues that to thrive, human beings need to exist in webs of mutual dependence, not in isolating, radical autonomy. Women's equal dignity doesn't require women to deny biological reality or attempt to be interchangeable with men. Sargeant advocates for building a culture that accepts and celebrates women as they are; rather than demanding that women keep their relationships and bodies in check. The fight for women's dignity is a fight for full, human dignity - a dignity that isn't threatened by dependence. It is our need for each other that makes us human.
